9 Noodles, cooked
1 tblsp olive oil
1 lb ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tblsp parsley
½ tsp salt
½ tblsp oregano
½ tblsp sweet basil
½ tblsp sugar
1 6oz can tomato paste
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 8oz can tomato sauce
¼ or so cup of water

Ricotta Mixture
1 26oz container ricotta
1 egg
1 tblsp parsley
½ tsp salt and pepper
1 lb mozzarella
½ cup grated Parmesan

mozzarella slices or gratings
1/3 of remaining meat sauce
Repeat layers twice more ending with meat sauce
Bake covered with foil (shiny side in) for about 25 min at 375 deg F
Remove cover and bake 5 or so more mins.
Let stand 5 min before cutting.

(I use a small bay leaf, which I remove before assembling lasagna)
Mix ricotta, egg, salt, pepper, parsley & mozzarella (1/4 of the lb. cut up)
Put some sauce in bottom of 13 x 9 pan, then three noodles (side by side),
1/3 of Ricotta mixture, 1/3 of Parmesan,
1/3 of mozzarella slices or gratings
1/3 of remaining meat sauce
Repeat layers twice more ending with meat sauce
Bake covered with foil (shiny side in) for about 25 min at 375 deg F
