1 1/2 . thinly sliced onion
1/4 c. water
6 c. beef bouillon
4 T. butter
dash paprika
salt and pepper to taste
dash worcestershire sauce
parmesan cheese
croutons or toast

Directions:
Directions:
Put onions and water in a large saucepan. Cook over low heat till water is absorbed. Add butter and saute till brown. Add bouillon and cook 2 hours or longer. Add seasonings and cook a little longer.
Pour into bowls, top with croutons or toast and cheese.
Broil till cheese is melted.
