1 1/2 Cups Milk Scalded & Cooled
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs Beaten Well
2 Yeast dissolved packets in 3/4 warm water and 1 tbsp. Sugar

*Add enough flour to handle well.

Directions:

-Roll to 1/4" inch and spread with shortening.
-Fold in half and spread again.

-Fold and roll till dough is 1/2" inch thick.

-Cut in (to form) Rounds
-Crease rounds in half and fold over.
-Spread one side with shortening.

Place in pan and cover in warm spot. Let rise for 2 Hours.

Bake at 375º for 10 Minutes.

Do Ahead Option:

Put rolls in pan and freeze.
Pull out as many as needed.
Thaw for 3 Hours.
Bake at 375º for 10 Minutes

This receive is the one that Gayle had passed down from her Grandmother who had perfected it!

This reciepe was printed "As Is" So....Good luck to all who can come close to what we're use to eating when Gayle popped them out of the oven....cause I have a feeling it's gonna take a bit of Trial and Error when it's in the form of being written in the "pinch of flour here and a dash or salt there!!!! :)
