1. Basmati rice 4 cups
2. Onions big, sliced 2
3, Cloves 5
4. Cinnamon 2" piece
5. Cardamom 5 pods
6. Ghee 2 Tablespoon
7. Coconut Oil 3 tablespoons
8. Water 8 cups
9. Salt to taste
For garnish
Onion 1 big thinly sliced anf fried until golden brown
Raisins 25 fry until plump
Cashew nuts 25 pieces fry until brown

Directions:

Wash and soak rice for half an hour and then drain rice/
Heat Ghee and Coconut oil and add cinnamon, cloves and cardamom until they splutter.
Add the onions and fry until transparent
Add the drained rice and fry for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add 8 cups of boiling water and salt
Stir gently and keep on low fire till all the water has evaporated. Approx.15 minutes.
Serve garnished with fried onions, raisins and cashew nuts.
Tasty Ghee rice(Neichoru) is ready.
