Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 eggs
1 lb Confectioners Sugar (3 1/2 - 4 cups unsifted)
1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
1 1/2 teaspoon Anise flavoring (more to taste)
About 2 cups of flour

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs until light and lemon colored. Add Confectioners Sugar with baking power slowly. Add Anise. Mix well. Add flour a little at a time. Roll dough into ropes and cut into slanted inch pieces. Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheets about an inch apart and let stand overnight. Next day: bake about 10 minutes in 320-325 degree oven.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I use parchment paper for these cookies. The oven temperature and time really depend on your oven, but 325 degrees usually works for me. I look at the cookies about 7-8 minutes so 10 minutes may be too long.
