3 cups self-rising flour
1/2 cup sugar
12 oz beer of choice

Optional ingredients:
shredded cheese, sliced jalapeños, thinly sliced shallots or caraway seeds, use your imagination

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Combine 3 main ingredients, mix well.
Rub melted butter on bottom and top of dough.
Top with any optional ingredients if desired.
Pour into buttered/greased loaf pan.
Bake for 45 to 55 minutes.
