2 lbs large unshelled raw shrimp
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup chopped parsley
6 cloves garlic crushed
1 tsp salt
Dash ground red pepper
Bread crumbs
1/4 cup lemon juice
Lemon slices (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse shrimp, remove shells & vein, wash, drain. Pat dry with paper towel.
Melt butter in shallow broiler pan (13x9x2); add 2 tsp parsley, garlic, salt, red pepper & lemon juice; mix well.
Add shrimp, toss lightly in butter sauce to coat well; arrange in single layer.
Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat.** Turn shrimp, sprinkle with bread crumbs; broil 1 minute longer until lightly browned.
Use tongs & remove shrimp to heated serving platter, pour garlic mixture over or pour into small pitcher to pass.
Sprinkle with remaining parsley, garnish with lemon slices. See note.

**Shrimp may be baked at 400 F for 8 to 10 minutes until tender instead of broiled. Great served with crusted French bread to dip in garlic sauce.
