Ingredients: 1 roll of prepackaged refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 8oz package of cream cheese (room temperature so easy to mix)
1/4 cup sugar
strawberries (sliced)
grapes (halved)
mandarin oranges (slices)
kiwi (slices)
blueberries
or what ever combinations you like... (4th of July means blueberries & strawberries!)

Directions:Spread cookie dough onto a pizza pan and bake according to package directions. Let the "big cookie" cool while you mix the cream cheese with the sugar. After the cookie has cooled completly, spread the cream cheese mix on the cookie but leave about 1 inch around the edges so it looks like a pizza. Now comes the fun part, lay the fruit slices on the pizza starting at the outside edge of the cream cheese-spread and working around in a circular pattern. There are so many ways to lay out your design, have fun experimenting! Use a pizza cutter and slice so that everyone gets a variety of fruit on each piece. |

Notes: This is always a crowd pleaser because it tastes phenomenal. It also has the benefit of being super easy to prepare, yet always looks so impressive! If you plan on taking one to an event you'd better make two (as my kids make me do), because the only thing you'll be coming home with is an empty pan!
