2 pkgs (20 oz) frozen corn, thawed (can also use fresh corn, cut from the cob and blanched for 5 minutes - I prefer using white or salt and pepper corn)
1 C. (8oz) heavy whipping cream
1 C (8oz) whole milk
6 tsp granulated sugar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp. MSG (optional)
Pinch ground white or red pepper
2 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp all purpose flour
1/4 C fresh parmesan cheese, grated

Directions:
In a medium-size saucepan, combine all of the ingredients, except the buyer, flour and parmesan cheese. Bring the mixture to a boil, then let simmer about 5 minutes. Blend the butter with the flour, then add to the corn mixture, mix well and remove from the heat. Place the mixture into a medium-size heat proof casserole dish. Sprinkle the parmesan over the top, them place under your broiler until lightly browned.
