Apricot Bars Recipe

Ingredients:  
Combine:
1/2 cup soft butter or margarine
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup flour

Work well, then add:
1 egg, beaten
1 T. milk

Press into a greased 9x12 inch pan. Spread
12 oz good apricot preserve over crust.

Mix:
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
4 T. melted butter
2 cups flaked coconut

Spread carefully on top of preserves.

Directions:

Bake at 325º for 25 minutes. Brown a minute or so under broiler until golden brown.

WATCH IT!

Cool before cutting.
