1 1/2 t. grated orange peel
2 T. fresh orange juice
1 T. finely chopped shallots
1/2 t. sugar
1/2 t. salt, divided
1/4 t. ground pepper, divided
1 1/2 lbs. asparagus, trimmed
1 T. olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
2. Combine first 4 ingredients, 1/4 t. salt and 1/8 t. pepper. Set aside.
3. Arrange asparagus in a single layer in a baking pan or jelly roll pan coated with cooking spray. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with 1/4 t. salt and 1/8 t. pepper. Toss well to coat. Bake 10 minutes, tossing again after 5 minutes.
4. Remove pan from oven. Drizzle juice mixture over asparagus. Toss to coat. Return to 450 degree oven for 5 minutes or until crisp tender. Serves 4 to 5.
