2 c. dried mushrooms
1 large onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
6 tbsp. oil
4 tbsp. browned flour
4 c. hot water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Soak mushrooms overnight. Drain and wash well. Add water to cover mushrooms and boil for 15 minutes. Drain and rinse well. Add water again and boil for 15 minutes. Drain and rinse again. Set aside. Saute onion and garlic in oil. Sprinkle browned flour over onion and add 4 cups of hot water. Stir well to make a smooth paste. Add drained mushrooms. Add salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 15 - 20 minutes. If desired, you can fry dill with your onions and garlic.
