1 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt

Frosting:
1 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar, sifted
3 tablespoons cocoa, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla
2+ tablespoons hot water (depends on weather)

Cookie: Combine dry ingredients, set aside. Cream butter and sugar. Stir in almond extract. Add dry ingredients and combine. Shape dough into large ball. Roll about a tablespoon of dough into a ball. Place on ungreased cookie sheet - flatten slightly with thumb. Bake at 400º, 10 - 12 minutes. Let cool on cookie sheet. When completely cooled, frost.

Frosting: Combine dry ingredients. Make well and add vanilla extract and hot water. Combine until smooth and slightly runny.
