Ingredients: 1 cup shortening, 2 cups sugar, 3/4 cup milk, 4 cups flour, l teaspoon salt, 3 tablespoons baking powder, 3 eggs, 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. YUMMY!!!! Can be topped with a pecan half or colored sugar to reflect holiday, etc.

Blend shortening and sugar; add eggs; then gradually add rest of ingredients and the milk. Bake @375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Everyone loved these cookies; I still make them a couple of times a year, i.e., Christmas and Easter.
