3oz Unsweetened baking chocolate
6oz Nestle premier white baking bars
12 fun sized (1/2oz) Hershey bars
1/3c cream + enough 2% milk to equal 1/2c total
1tsp vanilla
Ghirardelli's Sweet Ground Chocolate and Cocoa
Kosher salt

Directions:
Melt chocolate in double boiler. When almost melted, scald milk mixture on stove. When chocolate is melted, beat until smooth. Add vanilla to milk, beat into chocolate. Chill until you can work with it, then form into balls and roll in in the Ghirardelli Cocoa powder and sprinkle with a touch of Kosher salt. Chill.

This is a truffle recipe Laramie came up with to use up the odds and ends of chocolate in the house. It turned out fantastic. We have since experimented with higher quality chocolate with equally excellent results.
