1 lb. Ground Beef
1 lb. Pork Sausage
1 jalapeño pepper w/o seeds
2 Cups chopped onion
2 - 15 oz. cans Chick Peas (drained)
2 – 15 oz. cans Black Beans
1 – 29 oz. can Tomato Sauce
1 – 12 oz. can Tomato Paste
¼ Cup Cilantro
1 Tablespoon Chili Powder

Brown beef & pork with chopped jalapeño and drain. Add to a slow cooker with the remaining ingredients.

Options - Less chili powder will make the “heat” more subtle. This is the most I’ve used.
