1 pk. green tomatoes (8 quarts)
1 pk. apples
5 lb. brown sugar
2 lb. raisins
1 lb. currants
1 cup suet (or 1 stick oleo)
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 Tbsp. nutmeg
1 cup vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Grind tomatoes. Add 2 Tbsp. course salt, cover with boiling water, boil 5 minutes, and drain.
Again cover with boiling water (no salt). Boil 5 minutes and drain again.
Grind apples. Add apples and rest of ingredients and boil 1/2 hour stirring (all the time).
Put into jars immediately and seal.

Makes about 8 quarts.
