2 thinly sliced onions
1/4 c. butter
2/ 1/2 lbs. round steak, cut in noodle-size strips
2 cans Campbell's tomato soup (undiluted)
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
dash of Worcestershire sauce
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1/2 pint sour cream
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the onions in the butter until clarified, not browned. Remove from pan and set aside.
Brown the round steak strips, then add the soup and remaining ingredients, including the onions--except the sour cream.
Simmer in a 300 º oven for 4-6 hours. Just before serving, stir in the sour cream.

Serve with rice or noodles. (Grandma Dorothy cooked the rice in the oven in a casserole dish mixed with chopped green onion.)
