2 cups sugar
4 egg whites
1-1/2 cups buttermilk
3 cups flour
2/3 teaspoons soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, shortening, 1/2 cup buttermilk. Add eggs and beat. Add dry ingredients alternately with rest of buttermilk. Add vanilla mix, . Bake at 350 degrees.
