one large onion
small package fresh mushrooms
six large cloves garlic
one large green pepper
1-28oz can diced tomatoes
2-28 oz cans tomato sauce
2 tbsp sugar
oregano to taste
basil to taste
crushed red pepper to taste
1 pinch thyme
1 pinch marjoram
2 cups red wine
one pound ground beef
six center cut loin pork chops

Directions:
Directions:
Dice onion, mushrooms, garlic and green pepper. Saute in extra virgin olive oil, using a large dutch oven.

Add tomatoes and tomato sauce, all spices and the wine. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.

In a separate skillet, brown and drain the beef, then the pork.

Place the meat in the sauce, cover and simmer for 90 minutes.
