1 c. butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. milk
1 12 c. corn starch
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1 T. butter softened
3 T. lemon juice
3 drops yellow food coloring (optional)

Directions:

preheat oven 350º

Stir 1 cup butter and 3/4 cup powdered sugar, milk, flour and corn starch. Cream well until blended. Chill in refrigerator.

Place small spoonfuls of chopped pecan 2" apart on cookie sheet ungreased. Shape dough into small balls about 1 tsp. size, flatten over each pecan pile.

Bake 350º for 1 to 15 minutes. Let cool.

Mix remaining ingredients for frosting. Frost cookies and serve.
