2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups (12 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet choc. chips

Preheat oven to 375º

Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Beat butter and sugar in electric stand mixer until creamy. Beat in pumpkin, eggs and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto baking sheets.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
