1 c.sugar
2 eggs
5 T. lard
Pinch of salt
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. vanilla
1 c. boiling water
1 c. dates
1 c. raisins
1 t. soda
2 c. flour
1/2 c. walnuts
Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over dates and raisins. Add soda and let cool. Mix in the rest of the ingredients in order given. Pour into two large loaf pans or 4 small pans. Bake one hour sat 325º.
