4 c. 2% milk
1/2 c. flour
1 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1 stick butter
1 lb. dried beef, cut up (fresh dried beef is better)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a pan on the stove over low heat, stir in the flour until flour dissolves. Add milk, cook until sauce is thick, add dried beef. Serve over white bread or toast.
