2 4 oz. beef filets or tenderloins
1/2 c. unsalted butter
1/2 c. half and half
1 t. basil
1 t. oregano
1/4 to 1/2 c. dry white wine

Directions:
Directions:
In a small pan, mix the butter, half-and-half and fresh garlic. A minute before the sauce comes to a simmer, add oregano, basil and white wine.
Sear the beef in a skillet; drain off the leftover juices and pour the sauce into the same pan as the beef. Serve in a deep dish or bowl.

Steak de Burgo is a Des Moines area dish. This recipe came from Valiois Vasilonikolidaks "The Greek" who ran the Home Town Cafe in Waukee for many years. It is delicious.
