1 tbsp yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1 tsp honey
1 tsp salt
1 1/3 cup flour
1 egg
course salt optional for topping
wax paper

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve 1 tbsp yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Add 1 tsp honey and 1 tsp salt then add the flour. Knead. Roll small pieces into snakes and shape into pretzels or letters. Place on wax paper, brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with course salt. Bake at 425ºF for 10 minutes.
