2 c. lukewarm milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. shortening
7 to 7 1/2 c. flour
2 cakes of yeast

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 400 º

mix lukewarm milk, sugar and salt with yeast, stir until yeast is dissolved.
Stir in eggs and shortening. Mix wit spoon and then by hand add in flour: knead. Put into an oiled bowl, cover and place in a warm spot, let rise. Punch down and let rise again.

After second rising; divide dough for desired rolls or coffee cake. Cover and let rest 15 minutes - dough should be easy to handle.

Shape dough, let rise until light (15 to 30 minutes) then bake in 400º oven 10 to 15 minutes.
