3-4 Acorn Squash
1 lb. sausage (recommend 'Bob Evans')
4 T. butter, melted
1 tsp. salt
black pepper to taste
brown sugar to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Wash squash. Cut in half and remove seeds and fibers. Wipe dry. Cut bottom of squash so it will sit flat. Brush cut side with melted butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Next add brown sugar to taste. Stuff with sausage. Place each half squash on cookie sheet. Place any additional sausage on cookie sheet.

Bake in slow oven (325º) 1-1/4 hrs.
