1 c butter
2/3 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1/4 c water
2 c flour, sifted
/2 tsp bk pd
1 tsp salt
1 c oats, uncooked, quick or old-fashioned.
1 c golden raisins
1 c confectioners prowdered sugar, sifted
1/2 tsp lemon peel, grated
2 tbs lemon juice
2 tbs walnuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Soften butter; beat together with brown sugar til creamy. Blend in egg & water. Mix & sift flour, baking powder & salt; add gradually to creamed mixture, stirring until well-blended. Stir in oats & raisins. Spread batter evenly in greased 15 x 10" jelly roll pan. Bake at 350º for about 35 min, cool.

Frosting:

Combine confectioners sugar, lemon peel & juice. Spread over cookie & sprinkle with chopped nuts.

When frosting is set, cut into bars.
