1 cup butter
2 cups light brown sugar
2 eggs
3 1/2 cups Flour
1/2 t Baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 cup Nuts
1 cup Dates

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugar. Mix flour, baking soda & salt. Add dry mixture with butter & sugar. Cut up nuts and dates fine, mix with batter. Shape into two (2) loaves and leave in ice box over night. Slice thin. Bake 350* until lightly brown
