1 lb. fettuccine

1 1/2 T. butter, melted

3 cloves garlic, pressed

1 1/2 T. flour

2 c. milk

3 T. cream cheese

1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

2 T. chopped parsley

2 c. fresh shrimp, peeled

crabmeat (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, set aside and keep warm. In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add garlic, cook and stir 30 seconds. Blend in flour with fork, cook and stir 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk. Cook and stir until mixture comes to a boil and thickens. Remove from heat. Stir in cheeses and parsley until cheeses melt. Toss with fettuccine.

I peel 2 cups of fresh shrimp and sauté in 3Tb. butter until just pink. Do not overcook. Drain and mix into sauce. You can also add crabmeat to shrimp when sautéing.
