2 loaves bread, thinly sliced

1 stick unsalted butter, softened

2 pkgs cream cheese, room temperature

1/3 c. mayonnaise

6 green onions, chopped

freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cut four 1 1/2" circles from each bread slice. Butter one side and broil on cookie sheet until lightly toasted. Turn and toast unbuttered side. Cook on rack . Combine cream cheese, butter and green onions. Spread 1 teaspoon of cream cheese mixture over buttered sides of circles. Dip this side into Parmesan cheese to cover. Preheat broiler and arrange rounds on baking sheet. Broil until bubbly and golden (about 5 minutes). Serve immediately. Makes about 150.
