1 c. butter, softened

1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed

2 c. all purpose flour

2 to 3 T. white sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter at medium speed gradually adding brown sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour, beating at low speed until smooth. Cover and chill dough 30 minutes.

Roll dough to 1/4" thickness on a lightly floured surface. Cut with 2" cutter. Place on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 375º for 10 to 12 minutes. Sprinkle with white sugar while warm.
