2 cups milk
1 T. shortening
1 T. sugar
4-5 cups of flour
1 cake yeast
1 salt
3 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Heat milk to warm and add yeast, sugar, shorting and salt. Sift flour and baking powder together. Mix with liquid until soft dough is formed, knead well, roll out about ¼ inch thickness. Cut into biscuits, dipping each into melted shortening, place one biscuit atop the other. Put into well greased pan, let raise till double in size, bake in 450 degree oven about 20 minutes.
