Cake:
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups oil
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsps baking powder
2 tsps cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
3 cups finely grated carrots
1 cup chopped pecans
FROSTING:
1 8 oz cream cheese
2 sticks butter
2 tsps vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Spray 9x12 pan with Pam and dust lightly with flour.
Blend and beat for 1 minute the sugar, oil, eggs, then beat in 1 tsp vanilla.
Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and soda.
Add to sugar and egg mixture and beat 1 minute.
Stir in carrots and pecans.

Frosting: Beat together cream cheese, butter and vanilla.
Gradually beat in until smooth 1 box sifted powdered sugar.
