Grandma's Four Layered Dessert Recipe

1 1/2 stick melted butter
1 1/2 c flour
1 c chopped nuts
8 oz pkg cream cheese
1 c powdered sugar
1 Lg tub Cool Whip (12 oz)
2 small pkg instant chocolate pudding mix
3 c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Crust:
Mix melted butter with flour and nuts. Press into 9 x 13 baking dish. Bake for 20 min at 350º (don't brown). Cool.
2nd Layer:
Beat together powdered sugar, cream cheese and 1/2 cool whip. Spread on crust.
3rd Layer:
Beat pudding with milk and spread over 2nd layer.
4th Layer:
After pudding has set, cover with remainder cool whip. Cover with nuts if desired.

This might be a family favorite (especially Dan).
Everyone was asked to write a recipe on a card and bring it to my bridal shower in 2000. You can guess which one Grandma brought. So I am sitting here now looking at her handwriting, and missing her...
