1/2 lb Butter
1 Cup Sugar
5 Eggs
2 1/2 Cup Cake Flour
2 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Cup Milk
1/2 Tsp Vanilla
Whole Walnuts
Granulated Sugar
Coin Wrapped in Foil

Pre heat oven to 325ºF.

In a mixer cream butter until very light and fluffy. Add sugar gradually and mix well. Add eggs, one at a time. In a separate bowl sift flour and baking power and set aside. In another bowl combine milk and vanilla. Alternate flour mixture and milk into batter. Mix well. Add coin. Pour into a greased 10" round cake pan. Form cross with walnuts, sprinkle with 1 tsp or 2 of granulated sugar. Bake approximately 1 hour. Cool completely before removing from pan.
