3 cups sugar
1 Tbsp corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup eggnog
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Glaze -
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp butter

Directions:
Grease the sides of a lareaveeavy saucepan.Add sugar,stir in eggnog and corn syrup.Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until boiling. Cook,stirring only if necessary to prevent sticking until a candy thermometer reaches 238 degrees and when 1/2 teaspoon dropped in very cold water forms a soft ball that flattens when removed.

Immediately remove from heat and let cool to lukewarm 110 degrees without stirring.Using a wooden spoon,beat in butter and vanilla,heating until very thick and no longershiny.

Quickly stir in nuts.Spread into a greased 8 in square cake pan. For the glaze, melt together chocolate chips and butter.Drizzle over fudge.while still warm,score into 1 inch squares.Let cool completely and cut on score lines.
