3 thick slices bacon, chopped
1/2 lb. butter
2 T. Dijon-style mustard
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. dried basil or 2 T. chopped fresh
1/4 tsp. dried thyme or 1 sprig fresh
1 tsp. fresh-ground black pepper
1/2 tsp. dried oregano or 2 T. chopped fresh
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 T. liquid crab boil
1 T. cayenne hot sauce
2 lbs. large shrimp, with shells

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375˚
In a small frying pan, fry bacon until browned. Add the butter and all other ingredients except shrimp. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Place the shrimp in an open backing dish, and pour sauce over the top. Stir once to coat all the shrimp. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring twice during the baking process.
Serve hot and at once! Don’t forget the French bread for sopping up the sauce.
