4 - 16 oz. cans asparagus, drained
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. 'Chicken in Bisquit' or blue cheese crackers, crushed
1 small package toasted slivered almonds
2 cans cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
8 slices bacon, fried, crumbled (or canned bacon pieces)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter. Add cracker crumbs. Put half the crumbs in a buttered 3 quart casserole. Add 2 cans drained asparagus. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the almonds. Then, in layers, put 1 can of mushroom soup, 2 more cans asparagus, 1/2 package almonds and another can mushroom soup. Sprinkle top with remaining buttered crumbs. Top with crumbled bacon. Bake @ 350 for 20-25 minutes.
