2 small pkg. cream cheese
1/2 lb. margarine
2 c. flour
2 T. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the cheese and margarine together. Work in flour, sugar and baking powder. Knead to form a stiff dough. Roll to about 1/4" thick. Cut out dough, then place fruit in center.
Bake at 350º F till brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

This is Gramma Henrich's recipe. I believe when she made them that cream cheese came in 4oz. packages. So if you use 1-8oz. package of cream cheese you will get a crispier cookie. You may also need to add more flour to make it easier to roll.
