3/4 lb. ground chuck
1/4 lb. Italian sausage
1/2 - 1 chopped onion
5-6 fresh tomatoes, peeled and chopped(may use canned tomatoes)
1 can stewed tomatoes, include juice
1 cup or 1/2 jar mild picante sauce
Oregano
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. sugar
garlic powder
pepper, salt

Directions:

Brown in olive oil ground chuck, sausage and chopped onion. Drain. Add tomatoes, fresh and canned, add spices and picante sauce. Simmer on low for several hours.

Gramps' spaghetti was always a favorite of ours. He put his own twist on his sauce....with sausage and picante sauce. It was always so good with hot garlic bread and a salad.
