2lbs. beef stew meat
2 strips bacon diced
salt & pepper to taste
1 can condensed French onion soup
1 cup apple cider
1 lb. sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 can drained crisp corn
1/3 cup dried cranberries

Directions:
Directions:
In large heavy pot cook bacon 'til crisp, then remove. In the
bacon grease, brown the stew meet. Season.Return bacon
to pot and add liquids. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 hr. and 45 mins.
Add sweet potatoes and cranberries. Again bring to boil.
reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 mins. or until potatoes are tender. Add corn. Stir and serve.
