2 orange slices
3 Lime slices
1.5 oz good tequila
1.5 oz Malibu Rum
1.0 oz Vanilla rum
Simple Syrup equal parts water and sugar) Recipe follows.

Directions:
Simple Syrup - Combine equal parts of water and sugar into a sauce pan. Cook on stove top until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and chill in the refrigerator.

Commander - In a cocktail glass smash the orange slices and the lime slices as well as you can. Add the tequila, Malibu rum and Vanilla Rum. Add crushed ice. Fill the rest of the glass with Simple Syrup. Transfer Drink to a Cocktail Shaker and mix well. Return drink to the Cocktail Glass and enjoy.

These are awesome! I learned to make these in Australia while sitting in Circular Quay looking at the Opera House. A good tip got the recipe from the bartender.
