Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 c. all purpose flour
1 c. finely chopped nuts (I use pecans)
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup
2/3 c. packed light brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º F. Mix flour and nuts and set aside. Bring sugar, corn syrup, and butter to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and gradually stir in flour/nut mixture until well blended. Drop batter by small tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet, 3 inches apart (cookies spread very thin). Bake 5 to 6 min. or more until cookies bubble and appear "lace" like. Keep a close eye-they burn easily! Remove from the oven and let stand 1 minute before removing from baking sheet to cooling rack. Use a metal spatula with a fine edge to remove. Batter makes about 4 dozen cookies but they are thin and go fast.
