Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb. cream cheese
1 lb. butter
1 medium onion
1 Tbsp. yellow mustard
1/4 to 1/2 tube anchovy paste
Sweet Hungarian paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Allow cream cheese and butter to come to room temperature. Mix softened cream cheese, butter, grated onion, yellow mustard and anchovy paste in a medium bowl. When it's mixed well, add enough paprika to make the mix nice and pink (you can add the paprika before you mix so you don't have to mix twice).

Another variation is to add 1/2 to 1 cup of finely chopped chives instead of the onions. If you like caraway seeds, that can be added too.

Best if served at least several hours after it was made to give all the ingredients a chance to
blend. Keep refrigerated but let it warm up to room temperature before serving for easy spreading.
