Directions:
Rice cakes with Biscoff Spread (available in the peanut butter aisle) this spread is made from the yummy cookies that they serve on the airplane, one taste and you are hooked! Soft pretzels- If you place a frozen soft pretzel in a container, it will thaw by snack time. Cheese shapes- use your cookie cutters and make some fun/tasty shapes. Snack mix- made up of leftover cereals in the pantry, dried fruit, nuts, choc chips, shredded coconut etc. Small container of peanut butter for the kids to dip their apples/pretzels/crackers/graham crackers in. You can also add a bit of chocolate syrup for a welcomed surprise. Sliced apples with just a bit of 7-up or other citrus soda, this alleviates the icky brown spots that occur once the slices hit the air. Quick "Nachos"- shredded cheese in a container/ tortilla chips in another. Plain pasta-my daughter loves the spirals and will eat it cold (perfect for the snackbox). Banana "burrito"-lay a tortilla flat, spread on peanut butter/almond butter/NutellaŠ, add slices of banana, drizzle with honey & roll up into a burrito. Hummus with crackers or pita chips.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
One of the stresses that I impose on myself is creating snacks that my kids will like. This is easy for the first born....the second has a more discriminating palate which makes ANY meal a bit of a challenge. These are just a few of the favorite items that I have come up with over the years. I hope that something that I have shared here makes snack-time easier in your house!

"Crumb Snatchers"- (a little wink to our deeply beloved Father Pat!)
