2 sticks butter, softened
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1-2 tsp. maple flavoring (or syrup)
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. uncooked oatmeal, cooked or old fashioned
12 oz. choc. chips
1 c. peanut butter

Preheat oven to 375º. In large bowl, beat butter until light. Add sugars; beat until fluffy. Add eggs, maple flavoring (or syrup) and vanilla, beat well. Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in oatmeal, peanut butter and choc. chips until thoroughly combined. Drop by rounded spoonfuls on a cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 min..
