1 c shortening
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
1/2 t baking powder
2 c quick quaker oats
1 c flaked coconut
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
2 c flour
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
2 c rice krispies

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugars. Add eggs and beat well. Add vanilla and mix til smooth. Add flour mixture and mix well. Add oatmeal, coconut and rice krispies. Mixture will be crumbly. Roll in balls the size of walnuts. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Press slightly. Bake @ 350 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes.
