1 qt box brown sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
3 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3 c flour
1 8oz pkg chocolat chips
1 c chopped nuts of your choice (peanuts, pecans, etc)
9 x 12 pan or so

Melt butter, add beaten eggs and other ingredients, the bake at 325-350º for 25- 30 minutes. What makes them over the top is to make sure they are not dry & overly cooked...so, chewy & just before done is best.
